Dr. Jonathan Wang and Dr. Xuan Tran
Dr. Jonathan Wang and Dr. Xuan Tran are both originally from and grew up in New Orleans, Louisiana. They are a husband and wife team who both graduated from Louisiana State University School of Dentistry. Dr. Wang and Dr. Tran worked as associates at several dental offices in Louisiana and North Carolina before deciding to buy Carolina Smiles in January 2011. They now call Greensboro, North Carolina home. In their spare time they enjoy spending time with their five children. They enjoy making lasting relationships with the patients of Carolina Smiles. They both take great pride in getting to know their patients and providing treatment that is right for you. Using state of the art technology, Dr. Wang and Dr. Tran will show you exactly what is wrong instead of just telling you there is something wrong. They believe in earning your trust and want you to feel comfortable in coming to see the dentist.
Dr. Greenwood
Dr. Greenwood is originally from Greensboro, NC and received both her bachelor’s degree and Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. After graduating she returned to Greensboro to start her dental career. During her time off she enjoys spending time with her husband and children. Dr. Greenwood understands the importance of providing affordable, quality dental care as compassionately and professionally as possible. Dr. Greenwood enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and is very proud to be part of the Carolina Smiles team.
Dr. Shen
Dr. Jessica Shen was born in China and spent her early childhood in Japan before moving to the United States as a teenager. She attended NC State University for her undergraduate studies, then went on to obtain her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. To further advance her clinical knowledge and skills, she completed a General Practice Residency at Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow, NY. During her residency she treated a diverse patient population in a hospital setting. She considers NC her home and is very excited to be back after completing her journey in the northeast. During her time off, she enjoys hot yoga and binging all types of TV shows. Dr. Shen has always loved dentistry and wants to share that passion with all her patients by providing each patient with the highest quality care.
Dr. Bolis
Dr. Sarah Bolis grew up in Spring Hill, Florida, where she received her undergraduate degree in Biology at the University of Tampa. After graduating, she attended Tufts
University School of Dental Medicine where she received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. To expand her dental knowledge and skillset, she then went on to complete a one-year General Practice Residency program at Montefiore in Pennsylvania. Dr. Bolis has been practicing dentistry in the Rhode Island and Massachusetts area for the last several years. She is very excited to finally be moving down and permanently reside in Greensboro, NC with her husband and two children. In her spare time, Dr. Bolis likes to
spend time with her kids, try new recipes, bake, and hike the outdoors. Dr. Bolis is motivated to provide the highest quality of care to all the patients at Carolina Smiles.
